Dans la s\u00e9rie Hortus Azureus<\/em>, Gabrielle de Lassus Saint-Geni\u00e8s retravaille les po\u00e8mes issus de son recueil Hortus Conclusus<\/em> <\/a>(publi\u00e9 en 2017) gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019art du cyanotype pour cr\u00e9er le concept in\u00e9dit de cyano-po\u00e8me. Unissant les arts de la po\u00e9sie et du photogramme, cette s\u00e9rie \u00e9gr\u00e8ne les plantes comme les litanies du jardin \u00e0 travers une s\u00e9rie d\u2019\u0153uvres uniques calligraphi\u00e9es par la lumi\u00e8re du soleil. L\u2019artiste fait rimer ses quatrains avec l\u2019azur, transfigurant chaque plante qu\u2019elle pare d\u2019\u00e9criture et de po\u00e9sie, entre lettres, tiges et feuilles. Alors la botanique devient concept et la po\u00e9sie se m\u00e9tamorphose en sp\u00e9cimen sans autre cadre que celui de l’imaginaire g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 par les silhouettes. Ces derni\u00e8res se d\u00e9coupent avec vigueur sous l\u2019\u00e9clat de l\u2019inspiration pour d\u00e9ployer l\u2019esth\u00e9tique de la nature \u00e9gale \u00e0 l\u2019esth\u00e9tique du verbe.<\/span><\/p>\n

In her series Hortus Azureus<\/em>, Gabrielle de Lassus Saint-Geni\u00e8s reworks the poems from her book Hortus Conclusus, Les Litanies du Jardin<\/em> published in 2017 by Erick Bonnier. She comes up with a new concept of the \u00ab\u00a0cyano-poem\u00a0\u00bb by uniting the art of poetry and the photogram. Her quatrains in azure are inspired by the morphology of each plant and then transformed, through the blueprint process, into a poetic and visual symphony where the marriage of word and image creates a new aesthetic and symbolism.<\/span><\/p>\n
